Fall in Love with the Arts
Campbellsville University's Art Village is a section of campus dedicated to the arts.
Browse art from local artists, CU students and alumni. Exhibits can include ceramics
and sculptures, photography, photography, paintings and more. Take a tour through
our Turner Log Cabin Park, and stop by the Chowning Art Shop on your way out. The
Gosser Fine Arts Center houses the Gheens Recital Hall for various music recitals
and Central Kentucky Art Series events.
Art Building
The Art Building is the academic building for Art & Design 2D studios, a lecture room
and faculty offices. Often, students' artwork is on display in the lobby space within
the lounge area and student lockers.

Susan Kirkland Tesseneer Art Studio
The Art Studio houses a lecture room, studio space, faculty studios and is an additional
exhibition space.

Pence-Chowning Art Gallery
Guests artists from around the world and CU art students host a variety of arts exhibits
during the school year. Exhibits can include ceramics and sculptures, photography,
photography, paintings and more.
Hours range throughout the weeks as students run the gallery between classes. For

Gosser Fine Arts Center
A center of music and art classrooms, when walking through the halls you will always
hear the sound of musical instruments. The Gheens Recital Hall resides on the side
of the center where music recitals, events and more are hosted.

Chowning Art Shop
This log cabin is utilized by the Art & Design department in a variety of ways including
additional exhibition space, meeting place for plein air painters, and a studio for
the Art & Design Artist-in-Residence.

Turner Log Cabin Park
This park is an area for students to relax in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature
and beautiful scenery on campus. There is a gazebo, stone walking path and an area
which grows unique plant life in partnership with Clay Hill Memorial Forest. The cabin
is used as a meeting and reception area throughout the year.
