Campbellsville University partners with over 70 high schools, Christian academies and home school networks to offer eligible high school students the opportunity to enroll in CU courses for college credit. These are basic general education courses that will fit into most college curriculum.

What is Dual Credit?

Dual Credit is a college level course taken by a high school student that counts toward high school and college credit. Take classes face to face, online or through your high school. It is a great way to get a jump start on college courses while in high school.

Who can earn Dual Credit?

Qualifying high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are being taught college level material by qualified teachers may earn college credit while at the same time earning high school credit in their high school class. Acceptance into this program is based on academic achievement. The student must meet these requirements by the time he/she is enrolling in the course for college credit.  Students who meet the following criteria may apply for admission:

• Currently be a high school sophomore, junior or senior
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0

Dual Credit Cost

The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) sets the current allowable dual credit tuition rate annually. This is a tremendous savings over the regular cost of college courses.

KHEAA also administers the Dual Credit Scholarship program for eligible Kentucky high school students which can help cover the cost of dual credit tuition.

Registration

• Students taking courses at their high school will complete their registration at the high school. A CU representative will visit your high school (Dual Credit) classroom at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters to discuss the details of applying for Dual Credit and supply the necessary forms.
• Students interested in taking online or on-campus courses will need to contact our office to complete registration.

Payment

You have four options to make a payment:

• TigerNet - Pay quickly online by logging into your TigerNet account and click "Pay My Bill."
• E-Market - To make a payment on your Dual Credit program, go to commerce.cashnet.com/campbellsvstore. Scroll down and clcik on High School Students. You will need to know the balance due, your CU Student ID number, and your Social Security number.
• Phone - Call our Student Accounts office at 270-789-5203 to make a payment over the phone.
• In-person - Payment can be made in-person in the Student Accounts office at any CU campus.
