Dr. Sarah Stafford
Professor of English and Chair of the Humanities Division, Dr. Sarah Stafford Sims began her academic career as a history major with minors in English and accounting at Campbellsville College.  She went on to earn an M.A. in English from Eastern Kentucky University and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Kentucky.  Her dissertation focused on nineteenth-century British literature, examining the literary influence of Sir Walter Scott on George Eliot’s writings.  Dr. Sims enjoys reading, solving puzzles, playing piano, and teaching her senior ladies’ Sunday school class.  She and her husband, Ronald, live with their blue heeler, Sissy, on a farm in Casey County.
