Rockie McDaniel
My name is Dr. Rockie McDaniel and I am the eldest son of three from a small yet, proud family whose heritage can be traced by a family insignia hanging high above the family home fireplace. With the signage and being raised in church with strong beliefs in Jesus Christ, my family lives by a code of honor, “You do the right thing because it is the right thing to do and always remember who you are.” Few words to live by and yet, it has meaning giving personal strength and guidance to our family for conquering personal and professional obstacles which we have encountered through time. My education, owed to the United States Navy, consists of many experiences while attending Campbellsville College earning a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. I earned graduate degrees in Nursing Administration (MSN), Advance Pediatric Nurse Practice (PNP), and Advance Family Nurse Practice (FNP) from Old Dominion and Stoney Brook Universities. Lastly in 2011, I had the privilege to complete and earn a Doctorate of Healthcare Administration (DHA) from University of Phoenix. I am a retired Naval Officer with over twenty years of leadership and advance practice nursing experiences through war and peace, having served on active duty and active reserves. Since 2000, I have been in higher education experiencing administrative, leadership, and teaching roles both in undergraduate and graduate Business, Healthcare, and Nursing programs of various universities around the country. Currently, I am the Lead-Faculty in both undergraduate and graduate SoBET Healthcare Management programs at Campbellsville University.
