Dr. Lisa McArthur
Lisa McArthur is Professor of Flute and Music Theory at Campbellsville University. Dr. McArthur was selected the College/University Educator of the Year by the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) in 2002 and was selected as the 4th District College/University Educator of the Year in 2002 and 2017. She is the founding President of the Flute Society of Kentucky and the founding director of the Kentucky Classic Orchestra. Her flute ensemble arrangements and book about Gary Schocker are published by Falls House Press and a flute quartet arrangement of a Beethoven work is published by Alry Publications. Dr. McArthur is a regular teacher and performer around Kentucky, as well as an invited adjudicator for Solo & Ensemble Festivals and Kentucky All-State instrumental auditions.
