Keri Coots joined the Human Performance Department as an Instructor of Sports Medicine in August of 2022.  Keri earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health and Physical Performance with an emphasis in Athletic training from DePauw University in 2002.  Just after graduation, she completed her NATA Board of Certification in Athletic Training.  She then completed a two-year Master of Science in Therapeutic Kinesiology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  During graduate school, she worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer in the campus recreation department and also taught some courses in the undergraduate school. After graduate school, Keri was hired here at CU to work in the Athletic Training department where she stayed for 2 years until her family moved out of state.  After taking some time off from active employment to focus on her family, she returned to Campbellsville University where she worked as an Athletic Trainer for the athletics department from 2016-2022.  Keri lives here in Campbellsville with her four children and is an active member of Elk Horn Baptist Church where she serves in the children’s ministry.   Keri M Coots CV
