Dr. Ken Hollis
Ph.D., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; D.Min., The southern Baptist Theological Seminary; M.Div., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; B.S., University of Louisville Dr. Ken Hollis was born in Georgia, raised in Florida, and moved to Kentucky when he joined the U.S. Army in 1976 and was stationed at Fort Knox. It was during his time in the Army that two life changing events occurred; he met and married his wife Dodie, and he received a call to the ministry. Since being discharged from the Army in 1980 his life has been blessed personally and professionally. On a personal level he and Dodie have been married for 40+ years. They have two grown daughters, two sons-in-law, two grandsons and one granddaughter (pictures available upon request). On a professional/ ministerial level Dr. Hollis found that God has called him to not one but three ministries. For 35 years he has had the privilege of serving three churches, one as Minister of Education and two as Senior Pastor. Through his time as a pastor Dr. Hollis found God leading him into both the educational and counseling ministries. Today he is a licensed marriage and family therapist, as well as the director of Campbellsville University’s Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy program. His idea of fun is working out and martial arts (Dr. Hollis holds a 6th degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do).
