Juliana Moura
Juliana Moura is an Assistant professor of voice and Director of the Opera Workshop at Campbellsville University. Brazilian Full Lyric Soprano born in Rio de Janeiro Mrs. Moura holds a bachelor’s degree in Church music, a Master’s in Arts-Music-Voice, from Campbellsville University, a Master’s in Music Vocal Performance, from the University of Louisville, and is currently pursuing a DMA Vocal Performance at the University of Kentucky.   Moura has sung opera roles such as Desdemona, Mimi, Dido, Michaela, Lauretta, First Lady, and Countess, among others. She has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Steven Crawford, Kelly Kuo, Bob Bernhard, Joseph Mechavich, Kimcherie Lloyd, and Carol Nijes, and directors like Garnett Bruce, Thomson Smillie, Michael Ramach, and Kristine McIntyre.   Juliana Moura has sung in master classes to Stephanie Blythe, Jake Heggie, Ben Moore, Mathew Latha, and George Darden, and performed concerts and operas in Rome, Canada, Brazil, China, and New York.  She has also directed Musicals such as Sinatra’s My Way, West Side Story, Newsies, 9 to 5, The Sound of Music, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and others.
