Carmen Arranz Ordas, Dr.

Dr. Carmen Arranz Ordas, Associate Professor of Spanish, graduated with a B.A. in Translation and Interpretation in English, French, and Portuguese at Universidad de Valladolid, in Spain. After that, she completed a Master’s and a PhD in Hispanic Studies at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Arranz became a member of the CU family in 2013, and since then, she has taught a wide range of classes in the Spanish program. Dr. Arranz loves Kentucky, and she especially enjoys hiking its beautiful trails. She also loves her native country, Spain, and tries to go there as often as she can with her daughter and just soak up the history and bustling life around us.
