Ashlee L. Matney, Ph.D.

Dr. Ashlee Matney is an Associate Professor of Mathematics. She graduated from Campbellsville University where she earned her B.S. in Mathematics and Accounting, receiving the 2007 Accounting Award. She then completed a M.A. and additional graduate study in Mathematics, as well as a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences with an emphasis in STEM Education, at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Matney has been a mathematics faculty member at Campbellsville University since 2009. She is the recipient of the 2019 Academic Excellence Award for Non-tenured Faculty. Dr. Matney has been involved on the Campbellsville University campus since attending summer camps as a child and now resides locally with her husband and two kids.
