Dr. Allison Timbs
Dr. Allison Timbs has been teaching Criminology and Criminal Justice for 13 years at universities in Arkansas, Florida, and Kentucky.  Prior to that she conducted child abuse investigations and case management for the Arkansas Department of Children and Families.  Current research includes criminological theory, law and society, crime and media, and transnational criminology. Dr. Timbs holds a B.A in Criminology from Arkansas State University, a M.S in Criminology from The Florida State University, an M.A in Political Science from Arkansas State University, and a PhD in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of Florida.
