CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Ryan Kevin Bailey, a senior at Campbellsville University, has been awarded with the first Everett and Rose Colvin Scholarship, a scholarship given to students majoring or emphasizing in business or economics.

Everett and Rose Colvin of Campbellsville established the scholarship. Colvin is a former full-time faculty member in the CU School of Business and Economics who is retired but continues to teach as an adjunct instructor at CU.

Bailey met all the qualifications required to be the recipient of the scholarship, which includes being a sophomore, junior or senior, having a minimum grade point average of 3.0, keeping that GPA for a year, and showing to be of strong Christian character.

Bailey will be graduating with a degree in business administration, emphasizing in accounting. He is a resident of Campbellsville.
