Over 45 employers to visit Job/Career/Internship Fair April 5

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University will host her bi-annual Job/Career/Internship Fair, with over 45 employers present, Wednesday, April 5 from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Student Activities Center, 106 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.

Employers wanting to attend have until March 29 to register by contacting Teresa Elmore, director of career services at Campbellsville University. There is no charge for the recruiter booth.

Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of the university, said, “This job fair is an event that helps both Campbellsville University students and the community.

“This is where our students' education and skill sets are matched with their career potential.

“I appreciate our Office of Career Services organizing and reaching out to the business and professional community, bringing opportunities to our students by making the greater region aware of the quality individuals who graduate from CU and by offering our local community an opportunity to meet prospective employers.”

The fair is an opportunity for recruiters to employ college students, recent graduates or community people for part and full-time job or internships positions at their business or agency, Elmore said.

“Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and dress professionally to make a good impression,” she said.

Employers are to take to the Student Activities Center their tablecloth, displays and extension cords, if electricity is needed, and it is advised to arrive early for select table placement.
