CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Renee Shaw, host of “Connections” on Kentucky Educational Television, will speak during Campbellsville University's weekly chapel service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 in Ransdell Chapel, located on CU's campus at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.

Shaw is the host of “Connections” on KET, a show that focuses on exploring Kentucky's diverse minority communities. Shaw is also one of KET's public affairs program producers. She produced KET's longest running public affairs program, “Comment on Kentucky,” for more than a decade.

Shaw is also producer/managing editor and host of KET's legislative coverage. Shaw hosts KET's health series and produces numerous other issue-centered programs at KET.

Shaw travels across Kentucky moderating public issues forums and speaking about diversity, political and state legislative issues.

A native of Portland, Tenn., Shaw graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1994 with baccalaureate degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. In 1996, Shaw earned her master's degree in corporate communications.

She worked for years as an award-winning reporter and associate producer with WKU's Public Broadcasting Service, WKYU-TV and WKYU-FM. As a former adjunct professor of media writing at Georgetown College, Shaw also produced multi-media, issue and public policy reports for a national news service.

“Connections” airs Sundays at 1:30 p.m. on KET and Fridays at 5 p.m. on KET2.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.

All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10).
