CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University's education and business online graduate programs have been ranked 70th and 79th respectively in the nation in a report released today by U.S. News & World Report.

Campbellsville University is one of two Kentucky institutions ranked in the top 100 in the business graduate category and is one of four Kentucky institutions named to the entire list.

In the online education rankings, Campbellsville University and another Kentucky institution are the only two named in the top 100 with three other Kentucky institutions ranked.

For the 2014 edition of the Best Online Graduate Education Programs rankings, U.S. News incorporated program ratings concerning student engagement, student services and technology, faculty credentials and training, admissions selectivity and peer reputation.

“The U.S. News & World Report rankings continue to reflect the quality that Campbellsville University students experience in the virtual classroom,” according to Dr. DeWayne Frazier, associate vice president for academic affairs at CU.

“CU online tries to couple the strong academic background of our faculty with the latest in distance education technologies and the result is an academic program that we are proud to offer,” he said.

Frazier said the ranking is a “direct reflection on the tireless efforts of our faculty who make their classrooms academically rigorous but flexible to meet the needs of the 21st century learners.”
