CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Dr. Ted Taylor, Campbellsville University's director of the Big Maroon Club, spoke on “This is your season for grace and favor!” at Somerset's Southwestern High School's Class of 2014 baccalaureate recently.

Taylor, who formerly preached at Beacon Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, also told the graduates “This is your season to reap what you have sown!”

He told the graduates it is their season for grace and favor when they: care of the least of these, Matthew 25; pursue excellence, Colossians 3; choose faith over fear, 1 Peter 1; give, Luke 6; are kind to people who cannot repay you, Luke 14; pray, Matthew 6, and Live by truth, John 8.

Taylor has been on the faculty and staff at Campbellsville University since 1994 and has served as a theology professor and director of the Character, Leadership and Stewardship Institute.

He earned a bachelor of science degree from University of Tennessee at Knoxville, a master's degree in Christian education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville and a doctorate in education from the University of Memphis.
