Dr. Keith Spears, vice president for graduate and professional studies at Campbellsville, delivered the guest editorial last night on WAVE 3 TV in Louisville. He used the "March Madness" theme to highlight the need for state decision makes to increase needs-based state financial aid.

Dr. Keith Spears, vice president for graduate and professional studies at Campbellsville, delivered the guest editorial last night on WAVE 3 TV in Louisville. He used the “March Madness” theme to highlight the need for state decision makes to increase needs-based state financial aid.

CU alumni Don Smith ('13) and Michael McBride ('12) helped with the spot.

Spears, who is from West Virginia, has served at Campbellsville University since 2009. He is the vice president overseeing the School of Graduate and Professional Studies, which includes distance education, the Center for International Education and English as a Second Language Institute; the Louisville Education Center; the Larry and Beverly Noe Education Center; Office of Broadcast Services and the Virginia Ponser Flanagan Technology Training Center.

He previously was employed at Marshall University and the West Virginia Department of Education and the Arts. He is a graduate of West Virginia University, Marshall University and Central Michigan University.
