CU to Hear U of L Chemistry Professor

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Dr. Michael Nantz, professor of chemistry at the University of Louisville, will speak at Campbellsville University Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. in room 15 of the Administration Building.

Everyone is invited to the seminar, tentatively titled “New Materials and Methods for Non-Viral Gene Therapy.”

Dr. Nantz is a native Kentuckian and a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where he received his B.S in 1981. From there he obtained a PhD at Purdue University in 1987 followed by post doctorate work at MIT. He joined the faculty of the University of California at Davis in 1989. After 17 years in California, he returned to Kentucky in 2006. Nantz is a professor in the Chemistry Department at the University of Louisville.

He taught at the University of California at Davis before joining the University of Louisville faculty.

Dr. Chris Mullins, assistant professor of chemistry, invites everyone to attend.
