An Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter landed on the CU practice field recently as part of a training exercise for the School of Nursing. Angie Atwood, instructor in nursing, said, “This was a KANS event which exposed our students to another facet of nursing. The Air Evac team gave students an insight into career opportunities in flight nursing, the required qualifications and discussed the everyday challenges and rewards accompanying this field.”
