CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — You are invited to take an 11-day inspirational tour of Israel and Jordan.

Dr. Scott Wigginton, professor of pastoral ministries and counseling at Campbellsville University, said the group will be leaving from Nashville, Tenn. on an overnight flight to Jordan on March 1, 2014. They will arrive back home on March 11, 2014.

The latest day to reserve a spot on this trip is Sunday, Dec. 15.

The trip emphasizes the spiritual aspects of this country, Wigginton said, with guides who are experts and passionate about the miracle of the return of the Jews and the restoration of the state of Israel. The topics of military, politics, education and other cultural aspects will be woven into the commentary.

During the 11 days, the group will tour over 20 different sites and locations throughout Jordan and Israel.
The group will travel along the Kings Highway. They will see Mt. Nebo, believed to be the site of the tomb of Moses.

They will also travel to Bethany Beyond the Jordan, the place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.

They will enjoy the view overlooking the Sea of Galilee and spend time visiting cities including Bethsaida, Corazim and Capernaum.

The group will also go on a cable car ride to the mountain top fortress of Masada where the guide will treat everyone to the history of the famous zealot stand.
