Campbellsville Elementary School hosted BEAR Night for preschool, kindergarten and first-grade students on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

BEAR stands for Be Excited About Reading. At the event, Campbellsville University early education students read to the CES students and did activities with them.

CES students participated in several science experiments, involving germs, magnets, rain, music, air, shadows, volcanos and more, and were able to choose a bear and a book to take home.

Campbellsville Family Resource and Youth Services Center staff members organized the event.

About 50 people attended.
