Creason to lead Sept. 30 chapel service as part of Campbellsville University’s Outdoor Week

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Trent Creason, director of student activities, is overseeing Outdoor Week at Campbellsville University and will speak at the Wednesday, Sept. 30 chapel service at 10 a.m. as part of the event.

The service will be available to watch live online at http://www.facebook.com/campbellsvilleuniversity or www.wlcutv.com, as well as on Comcast channel 10 and digital channel 15.1 on TV.

Outdoor Week is an annual event held by Campbellsville University to encourage students to enjoy nature by engaging in various outdoor activities.

Creason has served at Campbellsville University for over seven years. He serves as the Campbellsville University chapter advisor for The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). He has also served as campus ministries intern and FIRST CLASS instructor and instructor with English as a Second Language, all at Campbellsville University.

At Campbellsville University, he was valedictorian of his class, received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, Servant Leadership Award, Alpha Chi Academic Society, Pastoral Ministries Award and was named to the President's List several times.

He has served as associate pastor of education and youth at Lowell Avenue Baptist Church, Campbellsville, for the past 10 years.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries in 2008 from Campbellsville University. He earned his Master of Arts in Discipleship and Family Ministry in 2011 from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a 2004 graduate of Taylor County High School.

He is married to Sarah Borders Creason, and they have three children, Nehemiah, Evelynn and Levi.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.
