CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University's
MBA program has been ranked 13th in the best value Christian MBA
programs in the United States for 2015, according to Christian Universities Online.

Campbellsville University offers a 36-credit hour MBA program that may be completed in as little as two years.

Concentrations for the MBA are
available in the areas of church management, healthcare management,
human resource management, information technology, international
business and marketing.

Dr. Pat Cowherd, dean of the
Campbellsville University School of Business and Economics, “We are
pleased that the School of Business and Economics has been ranked number
13 out of the 50 best Christian MBA programs in the country.”

“Our MBA brings interactive real world experience
to the online format. Our program offers a Christian and caring
environment, strong ethical commitment and friendly, knowledgeable
faculty and staff.”

Cowherd said students who complete the online
format have an opportunity to engage with a diverse group of individuals
from all over the world.

“This type of participation enables the online
MBA students to understand different cultures and business etiquette,”
she said.

“We believe this is what makes Campbellsville
University's MBA program distinctive. We strive to prepare students for a
Christian and ethical leadership role in a rapidly changing global
marketplace.”

The ranking can be viewed at http://www.christianuniversitiesonline.org/best-value-christian-mba-programs/.

Christian Universities Online said
the ranking first focused on schools with residential MBA programs. In
addition to this basic criterion, schools had to be accredited by either
Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) or
Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).

In addition to the accrediting bodies, Christian
Universities Online also included schools that were members of the
Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).  The follow
categories were used to rank the schools:  the number of MBA
concentrations, tuition costs and whether or not the program had a
special business school accreditation.

“The value of a MBA education typically
translates to salary increases for MBA students who were employed prior
to graduation,” said Michael Templeton, lead editor for the ranking.

Templeton said, “Employers continue to target MBA
graduates when seeking new hires.” According to Templeton, the schools
in this ranking not only help their graduates increase their salaries
but also train them to integrate their Christian faith into their
professional lives. Templeton said the ranking aims to be a resource for
students seeking to earn their MBA in a program that intentionally
weaves the Christian faith into their training and preparation.
