Campbellsville University welcomes Ron Edmondson to Feb. 4 chapel

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Ron Edmondson, senior pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, Ky., is scheduled to speak at Ransdell Chapel, Wednesday, Feb. 4. Edmondson specializes in organizational leadership as well as consulting with church leaders.

Edmondson has experience in leadership involving over 10 years of full-time ministry and 20 years of self-employed business ownership. His education includes a master's in seminary and organizational leadership from Austin Peay State University along with degrees from Luther Rice Seminary and Eastern University.

Years of education and experience in leadership have led Edmondson to restart one church and attribute to the planting of two others. About 20 years ago, Edmondson created a non-profit ministry entitled Mustard Seed Ministry, which focuses on family, marriage, parenting and leadership seminars.

Along with Edmondson's love for running, he is a family man. Edmondson is married to Cheryl and has two adult sons, Jeremy and Nate. Both are involved in ministry along with Jeremy's wife, Mary. In Edmondson's off time, his wife and him enjoy traveling, trying new foods and taking walks together.
