Campbellsville University to hold commencement ceremony for 201 students

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University will hold her commencement ceremony on Friday, Dec. 16 at Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, as 201 students graduate.

Two services will occur, the first at 2 p.m., and the second at 4 p.m.

During the 2 p.m. ceremony, students receiving a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees, will graduate.

Students receiving an Associate Degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Social Work, or those graduating with a Master's degree will graduate during the 4 p.m. service.

Ninety-eight students will be graduating in the first ceremony, and 103 students will graduate during the second ceremony.

The following degrees will be conferred, based on completion of all academic requirements, with the number of recipients: Associate Degree in Nursing, two; Associate of Science, seven; Bachelor of Arts, two; Bachelor of Fine Arts, one; Bachleor of Music, three;

Bachelor of Science, 64; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, 28; Bachelor of Science in Nursing, nine; Bachelor of Social Work, 17; Master in Management and Leadership, one;

Master of Arts in School Improvement, six; Master of Arts in Special Education, three; Master of Arts in Sport Management, two; Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, one;

Master of Business Administration, 18; Master in Marriage and Family Therapy, six; Master of Music in Performance, three; Master of Social Work, six; Master of Theology, seven; Teacher Leader Master of Arts in Education, five, and Teacher Leader Master of Arts in Special Education, 10.

Dr. Michael V. Carter, president, and Dr. Donna Hedgepath, vice president for academic affairs, will confer the degrees and present the students' names, respectively, at all ceremonies.

Darryl Peavler, director of alumni relations, will install the alumni.

There will be a senior walk at 1:30 p.m. for the 2 p.m. ceremony beginning in the Davenport Student Commons and moving to Ransdell Chapel; and 3:45 p.m. for the 4 p.m. ceremony, also beginning in Davenport Student Commons.

DVDs of the graduation ceremony will be sold for $25 in the lobby of Ransdell Chapel.
