Campbellsville University promotes Jennifer Garrison

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University has promoted Dr. Jennifer Garrison, assistant professor of educational ministries, to associate professor of educational ministries, per an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University, on April 16.

Garrison has taught theology at Campbellsville University since 2010.

Before Campbellsville University, Garrison was the executive director of Main Street CARE Ministry from 2006 to 2008 as well as the volunteer coordinator at St. Luke Medical Center from 2006 to 2008.

She received her Ph.D. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2016 as well as her Master of Arts in Christian Education and her Master of Arts in Ministry Based Evangelism from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003. She also received her bachelor of arts degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 1999.

She graduated from Whitley County High School in 1995.

She is the daughter of Earl and Linda Hale, of Williamsburg, Ky., and is the wife of Dr. Shane Garrison, vice president for enrollment services and professor of theology, and they have two children, Isaac and Ethan.
