Campbellsville University Orchestra to perform Oct. 2

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Campbellsville University Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Campbellsville Baptist Church at 420 N. Central Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.

Dr. J. Robert Gaddis, professor of music; Leo Barros and Larry McCrobie, both graduate conducting students, are the conductors in the concert.

The program consists of the following works: “Symphony # 41” by W.A. Mozart, “Variations on a Shaker Melody” by Aaron Copland, “Eight Russian Songs” by A. Lyadov, “Venus from The Planets” by G. Holst, and “Hungarian March” by H. Berlioz.

The concert is free and open to the public.
