Campbellsville University offers Kids College June 4-7, June 18-21 and July 16-19

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -

Do your children like archery, cooking, art, crafts, science and Microsoft Office? If so, Campbellsville University has camps for those in preschool to first grade and those in grades second-seventh.

Kids College has two sessions June 4-7 and July 16-19, both for students in grades second to seventh. A new Jr. Kids College is June 18-21 for preschool to first grade.

Daran Kennon, industrial education coordinator for the Virginia Ponser Flanagan Technology Training Center at 409 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, said students will have “opportunities to broaden the scope of their interests and interact with other outstanding young people” during the sessions.

Both Kids Colleges will feature Sharp Shooting Archery, Cooking Up a Storm, Cool Scientist, Microsoft Office Fun, Amazing Art and Computer Programming. Those participating will select two subjects.

The Jr. Kids College offers Reading Time, Craft Time, Cool Scientist, Kindle Fun, Tiny Tiger Archery; students will rotate through all classes.

The June 4-7 classes are from 1 to 3:45 p.m.; the July 17-20 classes are from 9-11:45 a.m.; the June 18-21 classes are from 1 to 3:45 p.m. Deadline for the June 4-7 classes is June 2; deadline for the other two sessions is July 14.
