Campbellsville University employs new director of alumni relations

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Darryl Peavler, a 2003 and 2005  graduate of Campbellsville University, who has been employed  with Wausau Paper Company in Harrodsburg, Ky., is now the  new director of alumni relations at CU.

Peavler began his new position in early July.

“We are looking forward to having Darryl join our team in development,” Benji Kelly, vice president for development, said.

Peavler graduated from Campbellsville University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2003 and went on to get his Master of Business Administration in 2005.

Peavler was employed in 2006 as the branch manager for Community Trust Bank Inc. in Danville, Ky. He was promoted to residential lender in 2009.

Peavler left Community Trust Bank Inc. and became pricing coordinator at Wausau Paper Co. in 2011. In 2012, he was promoted to the position of senior pricing analyst.

“His success in business over the past 10 years has been very impressive. We look forward to him taking our alumni program to new heights,” Kelly said.

Peavler has been involved in the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, Mercer County Youth Investment and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Peavler is married to Sherry Peavler, a former residence hall director at Campbellsville University, who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2002 and her Master of Business Administration in 2004.

Peavler was a residence hall director for Broadway Hall while at Campbellsville University. Mrs. Peavler was a residence hall assistant in North Hall.
