Campbellsville University Theater & School of Music

Campbellsville University is a generous contributor to the arts. The Campbellsville University Theater presents a wide variety of plays throughout the year, and the school of music offers numerous programs at the Gosser Fine Arts Center.

The Chowning Art Shop features a collection of fine art including original paintings, drawings, sculpture, jewelry, woodwork and other unique pieces. All artwork is created by Campbellsville University faculty, staff, students and alumni. These artists also staff the building so come check out the art, meet the artists and purchase original pieces!

Pence-Chowning Art Gallery

Guests artists from around the world and CU art students host a variety of arts exhibits during the school year. Exhibits can include ceramics and sculptures, photography, photography, paintings and more.  Hours range throughout the weeks as students run the gallery between classes.

Central Kentucky Art Series

The Central Kentucky Arts Series is the community arts council for the greater Campbellsville area. CKAS is dedicated to bring a wide variety of arts programming to the local community. It is funded by the Kentucky Arts Council, corporate donations, individual donations, door tickets and season memberships.

Taylor County Fair

Recognized as the “Best County Fair in Kentucky” by the Kentucky State Fair, this week long festival celebrates the area's agricultural heritage. The fair includes agricultural events, contests and races, a carnival, truck pull, pageants, music, a demolition derby and more.

Fourth of July Celebration

Each year, over 40,000 visitors gather in Campbellsville for the annual celebration which honors the spirit of freedom. Attractions which have made the event one of the largest Fourth of July celebrations in the state include country music concerts, parades, and, of course, fireworks.
